Jar Compiler

Jar Compiler Plugin

Jar Compiler screen

The Jar Compiler program is an Eclipse based plugin and a standalone IDE called JarcIde to help create native executables from jar files and DLL files. Once compiled the executable file created can be run without Java being installed.

The standalone native java compiler called JarcIde is a program that does not require Eclipse and runs under Windows OS. This prorgam is very much like the Eclipse plugin version.

Convert jar to exe file for both Windows and UNIX platforms. This is not a java wrapper or java launcher, this allows you to run your Java applications without the need of the Java virtual machine (JVM). The UNIX version has been tested under FreeBSD 7.2 and 8.0-rc1, other UNIX platforms that support the GNU compiler should also work.

SPECIAL NOTE: The GNU gcj.exe compiler used only supports Java 1.5 and less. They stopped development on gcj.exe back in 2009 sadly.

This plugin is free for both commercial and non-commercial use.

This program requires Java 1.8 to be installed.
